Sculptra
Regenerative Collagen Stimulator
COLLAGEN-STIMULATING TREATMENT DESIGNED TO RESTORE FACIAL SUPPORT, IMPROVE SKIN QUALITY, AND PROMOTE NATURAL, LONG-lasting REJUVENATION.
Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable treatment designed to support the skin's natural regenerative processes. Rather than creating immediate volume, Sculptra works gradually over time to restore facial support, improve skin quality, and address age-related collagen loss.
At Esthé, Sculptra is used as part of a comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation, helping to improve facial structure, skin firmness, and overall skin quality while maintaining natural-looking results.
Whether you are looking to improve skin laxity, restore facial support, or proactively support healthy ageing, treatment plans are tailored to your anatomy, concerns, and long-term aesthetic goals.
Regenerative, restorative, long-term skin support.
What is sculptra?
Sculptra is an injectable biostimulator composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a material that has been used safely in medicine for decades. Rather than acting as a traditional filler, Sculptra works by stimulating the body's natural collagen production pathways.
Following treatment, Sculptra gradually encourages the production of collagen and elastin, helping to improve skin structure, firmness, and facial support over time. Results develop progressively, creating subtle and natural-looking improvements that continue to evolve in the months following treatment.

What to expect
Consultation
Your consultation includes a comprehensive facial assessment, discussion of your concerns, and evaluation of treatment suitability. We will develop a personalised treatment plan based on your anatomy, degree of collagen loss, and desired outcomes.
Treatment
Sculptra is administered through a series of carefully placed injections designed to stimulate collagen production throughout the treatment area. Treatment typically takes 60 minutes and most likely will involve multiple sessions depending on your age and goals.
During Treatment
A local anaesthetic is incorporated into the treatment preparation to maximise comfort. Most clients experience only mild pressure during treatment.
Your appointment concludes with a facial massage to ensure even product distribution.
Aftercare
Some swelling, tenderness, bruising, or redness may occur following treatment and generally resolves within several days.
Because Sculptra works by stimulating collagen production, results develop gradually over time. Improvements are typically seen over several months as new collagen is produced.
Following treatment, you will be advised to massage the treated areas for five minutes, five times per day, for five days.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Although both are injectable treatments, they work in very different ways.
At esthé, dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA) and are used to restore volume, enhance contours, and provide immediate structural support. Sculptra, on the other hand, is composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a collagen-stimulating biostimulator that works beneath the skin to support your body's natural regenerative processes.
Rather than providing immediate volume, Sculptra gradually stimulates collagen production over time, improving facial support, skin quality, and overall skin integrity. The result is a subtle, progressive rejuvenation that develops naturally over several months.
-
Results can last up to two years or longer in many patients. Individual longevity varies depending on age, lifestyle, treatment area, and the number of treatment sessions performed.
-
Sculptra is designed as a treatment journey rather than a single appointment. Most clients require an initial series of 2–3 treatment sessions to achieve optimal collagen stimulation and regenerative outcomes.
Your recommended treatment plan will be tailored to your individual anatomy, degree of collagen loss, and aesthetic goals. Following the initial series, maintenance treatments are commonly performed every 12–24 months to support long-term collagen production and ongoing skin quality improvements.
-
Sculptra works gradually. While initial swelling may create temporary fullness, true results develop over several weeks and months as new collagen is produced. Improvements continue to evolve following each treatment session.
-
Yes. Sculptra is designed to support your body's own regenerative processes, creating gradual improvements in facial support and skin quality. The goal is a refreshed, natural-looking appearance rather than an obvious change.
